GREAT PLAINS

The first regular edition from Furrow Books pays tribute to the Great Plains – the heartland of America, and home to Furrow Books headquarters, Omaha, Nebraska. Just as the Great Plains provide a strong foundation for our nation’s agriculture, this edition of Furrow Books provide an exceptional foundation for unrestricted creative expression through its ultra minimalist design and highly versatile application.

The cover and two-sided inserts are made of 80# Neenah Royal Sundance Birch Fiber stock, which contains flecks of natural material, reminiscent of the grains and other flora of the region. While the printing on the covers is minimal, we made sure the quality is just as you would expect coming from the Midwest and used offset printing methods with black ink. FOUNDING SUPPORTER

This highly limited edition run of pocket notebooks was printed in July 2014 to celebrate the founding of Furrow Books, with a nod to the crowdfunding website, Kickstarter, where the initial funding for Furrow Books was received from 983 generous backers.

Unlike usual editions of Furrow Books, each Founding Supporter notebook is packaged and offered individually instead within a pack. Only 1,500 pocket-size and 1,500 large-size notebooks were created and each one is carefully numbered by hand.

The dark green covers are made of 80# Neenah Royal Sundance Fiber White stock and are slapped with a vibrant green logo and text snippet on the back. The interior paper is made of the 100% PCW recycled and acid free 60#T Rolland Enviro100 and is compatible with a wide variety of writing instruments.
